Chris and Lucinda grew up around the corner from each other although never met while growing up.  It was years later and by chance, while they were at their local church that they got to know one another and their infatuation began. Fast forward a few more years and Chris was dying to propose. So he did. And it was perfectly planned and romantic just as he had hoped.

This start to their relationship as well as their mutual Christian faith was the cornerstone to how they planned their wedding as well as how they envisioned their marriage to be.

Their wedding was simple but elegant and because the venue, where their ceremony and reception were held, was beautiful and didn’t require many additions, they didn’t have to go overboard with the styling.

They did surprise guests at their reception though, when they went to cut the cake – and there were two!

It was Lucinda’s Grandparents 51st anniversary the day after the wedding, so her grandparents cut their own matching cake to their wedding cake at the same time.

So sweet.
